Brevard County Municipal Hurricane Nicole Storm Debris Clean-Up Plan as of November 21, 2022, 1:00 p.m.   Please check back for updates.

Residents should be advised that the storm debris contractors will make only one pass through each area.  All storm debris must be brought curbside now.

  • Unincorporated Brevard County
    • Storm debris contractor will service large, loose vegetative debris piles
    • WM will service carted garbage, carted recycle, containerized yard waste, bulky waste (i.e., furniture, appliances)
    • Residents must call WM to schedule bulky waste for service
    • Residents are responsible for disposing of construction debris, including wood fencing
  • Town of Indialantic
    • Storm debris contractor will service large, loose vegetative debris piles
    • WM will service carted garbage, carted recycle, carted yard waste, bulky waste (i.e., furniture, appliances)
    • Residents are encouraged to call WM to schedule bulky waste for service
    • Residents are responsible for disposing of construction debris, including wood fencing
  • City of Indian Harbour Beach
    • Storm debris contractor will service large, loose vegetative debris piles
    • WM will service carted garbage, carted recycle, carted yard waste, bulky waste (i.e., furniture, appliances)
    • Residents are encouraged to call WM to schedule bulky waste for service
    • Residents are responsible for disposing of construction debris, including wood fencing
  • City of Melbourne
    • Storm debris contractor will service large, loose vegetative debris piles in non-gated areas
    • WM will service large, loose vegetative debris piles in gated communities by zone
    • WM will service carted garbage, carted recycle, containerized yard waste, bulky waste (i.e., furniture, appliances)
    • Residents are encouraged to call WM to schedule bulky waste for service
    • Residents are responsible for disposal of construction debris, including wood fencing
  • Cities of Cocoa, Cocoa Beach, Satellite Beach, and West Melbourne
    • Regular WM service, but please anticipate possible service delays due to extremely high volume
